A vintage black Batey & Co glass bottle from the Victorian era. The dark glass is often referred to as black or deep amber/green grass.
The heavy, thick glass is embossed with the lettering 'B & Co Ld', 'Batey', 'Suprema', 'The Property of Batey & Co Ld' 'No deposit charged' and 'London'. The lettering 'Batey' is embossed on the bottom. The glass does show signs of wear due its age.
