A lovely brown salt glazed Batey vintage stoneware bottle. These bottles were made in the 19th Century for storing lemonade, soda or ginger beer. It now looks perfect styled on a shelf on its own or with other vintage bottles.
The word 'Batey' is stamped on the front . There is also a makers mark stamped on the back.
The bottle has many imperfections due to its age so please check photos carefully.
