A lovely large two tone brown salt glazed vintage stoneware ink bottle, often referred to as a Church Warden. These bottles were made in the late 19th Century for storing ink. It now looks perfect styled on a shelf on its own or with other vintage bottles.
There is a faint makers mark on the bottom together with the number 23. There is a lovely markers mark in the shape of a skittle on the back.
The bottle has imperfections due to its age so please check photos carefully. There are a few chips round the top.
